Distinguished by its carbon fiber air cleaner housing, the X51 Powerkit boosts performance through a series of engine enhancements including a larger throttle body, optimized intake airflow, cylinder heads and exhaust manifold modifications, changes in the control unit, and the inclusion of a sport exhaust system.
I guess the PSE is just icing on the cake because it does nothing for the std. 997 so it must be the other items that make the power and the PSE just lets it breath and sound better.

I think Trundle997S is the best...and yes, the figures are right but of course the powerkit engine is not based on the "old" 964/GT1 engine design but on the new 3.8 l M97 Carrera S engine.
What amazes me the most is the increased torque, especially since this is done over the whole rev range!
The previous engine looked, judging by the dyno graph, rather like a sport-biased version of the orginial engine, sacrificing or at least not improving performance at lower RPMs.
I do believe that this won't be the last stage that we will see from this engine!
