His engine broke again in practice so looses ten places at the grid for replacing it. They may have the fastest car on the grid right now but thats nothing if its not reliable. Comon' Mercedes! 
What I find totally shocking is that Alonso still lapped quicker than Kimi's Mclaren... he managed the pole in Silverstone with a Renault!!!
I'm not too confident Alonso will win the race however, its Silverstone and thats got to be the worst track for Renault, but nevertheless an incredible display by Alonso today. The other Renault (Fisico) was 7th. Lets hope NOBODY brakes engine tomorrow and we can see a good show. Schumi's qualifying was mediocre to say the least...

Seems Renault manages to put Allahondo up for the championship while MErcedes manages to spoil everything for the fastest man in the field.
Too bad.
Hope Kimi finds another team with more stabil cars.
I'd love to see Albadando and Iceman battle it out for real and not thru this penalty-crap.
Rules are rules and thats fine. Just a pity for the race.

That remark may be your funniest comment here yet!
I suggest that if you ever do visit Spain, or if Carlos visits Denmark, that you duel it out on riding mowers
with water balloons on lances. The loser can dine at a Finnish restaraunt!

I also thought that McLaren would take this track (tailor made for them), especially after intial practice, with McLaren taking top 3 of 6 times...however, technical reliability problems surface once again for this team. Lastly, I wonder if Alonso was running light for Q. Everyone always seems to think he is but he usually isn't....trully amazing

Right on the most crucial part of the race, why was Trulli not shown any blue flags right when Alonso was about to pass Montoya on the second pit stop?? ... The martials decided the podium finish at Silverstone, incredile. Trulli didn't know Alonso was there (it wasn't his fault) and Alonso was weaving from side to side in an attept to being seen by Trulli in the rearview mirrors almost crashing into him since he was seeing that the marschals were not waving the blue flag 
Nevertheless great race. Montoya did everything right, and his start from the grid was amazing, were he pased Alonso was a very risky and dificult place. Can't believe Fisichela stalled the car again! that cost him the podium, but it was good since Kimi deserved that bit of luck at least after his terrible luck this weekend.

I just got back from a killer picnic...arhgh! So i didnt even get to see the race!!!!!!! My girlie will pay BIG TIME for this!!!! Grrr.

In Denmark we have something called Ring-riding (and NO, it's not a sexually obscure passtime). It usually takes place on a horse, and by using a lance you must ride towards a ring tied to a string in the air and catch the ring with your lance.
Nowadays they have swapped the horses for MC's, tractors and...lawnmowers! Yikes!
Here they are lining up for that very special event.
