My 360 Spider, I just brought her home.

Hi!!! First I want to introduce myself to all of you. My name is Narun and I live Bangkok,Thailand. I just found this Great site 1 week ago

Nice and happy to know all of you

Ferrari is always my dream car but in Thailand here there is high taxes(around 300% for a car with over 220 bhp.

)

BTW after collected and saved money for long time. I just have a chance to have a pony. She is 2002 Ferrari 360 SP with 5317 km with F1 gear box. Exterior is Rosso Corsa with black interior and black stitching

I just fall in love with her

IMO the Black seat with red stitching is better. But this Black seat with black stitching is ok for me.

awesome ride narun!! i'm sure you'll have many happy miles in her, btw you said taxes for a car over 220bhp is 300%, what did you pay for the car in USD? if you don't mind me asking, i just want to compare them to our car prices, which are pretty high too

The price tag for brand new f360 Modena at our authorized Dealer last year (which is the only one in Thailand) is 16.5 Million Thai Baht and Spider is 17.5 Thai Baht

this price is include F1 Tranmission. (40 Thai Baht = 1 USD) So it equal 412,500 $ for Coupe and 437,500 $ for Spider

I bought her at 15 million Thai Baht. which equal 375,000 $

Right now the Price of F430 with F1 Trans and Ceramic Brake is Strat at 562,500 (= 22.5 Million in Thai Baht)

only one F430 is arrived 4 days ago but 27 car has already book that's mean if we place an order now we have to wait for 2 and a half year (our Dealer have quota of F430 only 15 cars per year)

hi narun, we pay the similar prices here, a f430 spider costs $500,000 here, a 360 spider also around $450,000

Hi JP!..... Yeb, I also like the red license plate but this red plate is just a temporary one for all new car in Thailand while waiting for real license plate which is in the white colour

BTW I think I will put this red license plate even I got The white one.

I'm also live in Bangkok, i'm 16yo by the way.
congrats on the new 360. The price looks very nice for a red plate. The tax system here (i think) will be changing soon, Thailand will not import 1800cc.+ car.

ps. do u know anyone at Ferma ? or did u buy the car from a dealer somewhere else

I am so surprise that you can speak and write Thai so fluently! I had been to Songkhla few time and saw a yellow F355. She is so Beautiful

I think that is the only one F355 is Songkhla.......

A Few of them include 456, 360Spider and 360 Challenge Stradale are in Phuket (Survived from Tsunami!)

Hi iyori! I am so glad that you like our country.

About your question. We are making Merc only few Models, Actually I want to say that we just assembly the car. Cos most of the important parts are still import from another country.

Models which are assembly in Thailand include all of 4 doors sedan (C-class, E-Class, S-Class)

except the CLS, estate model and AMG model.

BTW all of Merc SUV and 2 doors coupe (SLK,CLK,SL) are still import car

Thank you for your reply! I see. Does that mean that some Mercs are less expensive compared to buying a similar import? Less duty/tax for locally assembled cars? Sorry for posting this here guys, it has nothing to do with F cars.

By the way, have you considered changing the exhaust system?
They have some phenomenal systems in Japan.

it is of USA so disregard the price. It is half of what it says in Japan. The sound of 360 with their exhaust system is, in my opinion, sounds extatic.

Yes, locally assembled Merc cars are less expensive compared to buying a similar import one! For example E200 Kompressor (locally assembled) cost around $100,000 but the similar import one cost $125,000 due to High duty/tax

Anyway thanks for your suggestion about the Exhaust system for my Pony. IMO nobody in Thailand put this exhaust system in Pony yet

I should consider this brand too.
