No one will find a piece of grit in my interiors but a friend had M3 with the light grey interior and he was very clean in himself but his grey leather looked well worn and scuffed . No cleaner or method improved it , its like a white tiled floor and a black one - the white will show every normal wear and tear flaw going after time . The same thing can be said with exterior colours..

The base 997 cannot be ordered with colored calipers on the standard options sheet. It might be possible via the Exclusive department but this would be far more expensive than it would be worth. There has been at least one poster who had his calipers powder coated red, maybe you can search for that thread on the site here.

I'm going with my initial preference (Arctic, Grey and Grey). I believe you won't go wrong if you do the same:Seal and Beige is an excellent combo! I really haven't seen a combo I don't like yet. It's fun for me to entertain the possibility of ordering another color..., but I always come back to my initial preference.

Even though i would definitly not mind or jump at the chance at any of the cars posted, i think i like the Slate/Sand the best for me. So i think i am going to the local porsche dealer and disscuss everything over the weekend, i will keep you posted!!

Zurich Stone Gray is very rich looking especially in full leather. It gives the interior of the car a spacious (larger) feel to it. Also, this particular color combo (Arctic silver/Stone Gray) both share "umber" tones. Its hard to explain but if you see it in person, you'll see what I mean. Porsches Stone Gray is almost black and would agree that a lighter gray doesn't work on this model as well. I personally wouldn't swap it for black but as the saying goes beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and for re-sale (not why I choose that color combo) its Number #1 along with Arctic/blk. Ideally, I would of preferred the 2 toned option using blk as the contrasting color (blk borders + stone gray inserts on the front seats/back seats dash and door panels) but no such option was available at the time.
