A nice day out

Mr & Mrs Dreamcar very kindly took a detour into Lacashire during their holiday.
It was a grey day, but we had a good run through the Ribble Valley, over the Trough of Bowland and back to the Yorkshire Dales. With a stop for a nice lunch just in time to hear the Olympic vote result

Very nice to meet you both, we will get down south one day

Ah, brings back my youth - tromping up Pendle Hill in the fog on Halloween, getting very drunk in Morecambe where I lived whilst at Uni - a tear in my eye. Mind you when I last went up to Burnley in the Porsche my friend insisted I hid it!

Great pics... perhaps a weekend Lake District meet one day....?

Aye - lived ooop North for quite a while (1981-2000) - Lancashire/Yorkshire border between Burnley and Todmorden and then Lancaster/Morecambe when at Uni.

man i cant decide which colour looks better on it, i just cant. thank god im not able to buy my own porsche cause the colour choice would kill me

#4 As was said at the time, a synchronised dropping of the tops for a photoshoot. Rain stopped, roofs down, quick few shots, rain started, roofs up!

I'll post a few Yorkshire shots shortly.
