Re: Autobahn experience Munich to Landshut
ignacio, before my Cayenne Turbo, I drove a ML55 AMG for more than 3 years. I can assure you that if you drive a SUV "right", there is no danger of a rollover.
Rollovers happen because of stupid drivers which try to break the world record on how often they can turn the steering wheel from left to right and vice versa in one second , they happen because of low tire pressure or even non-approved tires and they happen because of moving load in the trunk which isn't properly "secured". You would be surprised to see what you can do with a ML55, most so called sports car drivers can't follow me... And the Cayenne Turbo is MUCH MUCH safer because the ML55 has a very dumb steering which can even be dangerous in the wrong hands.
And believe it or not: my Cayenne Turbo feels safer in high speed curves than my former E55 AMG LIMOUSINE. Go figure...
Your words actually prove that a lot of people don't know too much about modern SUVs. Drive one, you'll be surprised.
The secret is: you have to adapt to the car, not drive it like a limousine or sports car. People just "miss" that.
