Enmanuel:What is the timeline on your RC?
Still November production, nothing has changed. 😢
Sales guy says I should be happy I’m getting one, he had numerous requests for a CS he had to turn down but this doesn’t really help me. 🤷🏻♂️
They only got one car so far, the second one will arrive in July and I get the third one. Three dealerships, only three cars. Some of the biggest dealerships in Bavaria, still only one car per dealership.

Mikla:
I value Joe Achilles' opinion a lot but I think he is wrong about the steering feel.
I met a guy at my Lambo dealer a few weeks ago and he already got his M3 CS. He says that the steering feel is the thing he noticed most about his CS because he had a M3 Comp before and the steering feel of the CS is much better and more direct. He compared it to his Huracan Evo.
There is also another video of an American owner of the new M3 CS, he also owns a Cayman GT4 RS. He said in the video that the steering feel is amazing, razor sharp and very good.
This is what I heard from many sources, so I'm not sure what Joe Achilles experienced.

Porker:I can only comment on the M5 CS steering, and I do concur it is brilliant, much better than you'd expect from a big sedan.
It is very good indeed from what I remember from my test drive.
Still didn't get the chance to drive the M3 CS.
I am going to be at a M driving even on July 15th and will drive the M3 Comp and the M2 but with some luck, there could be a M3 CS there, not sure I can drive it though.
Joe Achilles was the first to criticize the M3 CS steering, so I am confused. The American guy who tested the M3 CS (and the M5 CS in comparison) and also owns a Cayman GT4 RS said that the M3 CS steering is very different to the M3 Comp steering and that it very direct and sporty. Joe Achilles says the contrary, so I guess it remains to be seen.

Interesting (amateur driver) comparison vs the GT4 RS.
Keep in mind that the M3 CS in this video has normal tires (no semi-slicks) and no ceramic brake.

Btw: I just noticed a "rennteam8815" comment in the video's comment section, this is not me or someone from our mod team. So weird.

Definitely...
Seriously though, I need the luggage and passenger room. Otherwise the GT3 Touring would have been my first choice.

Entertaining video. I had my 73 911 on that track nearly 15 years ago - fun to have a little reminiscing

xpto:In portugal there are 2 unsold in dealers stock. Quite strange the lack of allocations in germany
Too expensive for customers in Portugal?
Also, some cars are shown in stock (my son found one in Germany) but dealer is asking for a mark-up. It is a very clever thing: They offer the new car through the dealership but they say it is owned by a third party (which isn't really true but different story).
Why is the lack of allocations strange in Germany? They get a certain amount of cars and that's it. Production is limited to one year only. Estimated production figures vary from 1000-1200 cars. My sales guy claims that the M GmbH contact he talked to on my behalf when I wanted to get the car earlier told him, that only 1000 cars will be produced due to parts constraints.
M4 CS and M3 Touring CS are also rumored for MY 2025 (production starts 2024).

Met on the weekend with a local car collector and I was complaining about my late CS arrival in December (November build). He told me he has a friend who is a huge BMW car collector in Germany, even has the new CSL 3.0. This car collector is pissed that he is getting his car in October (September build) because one of his US business partners already has his CS in the US(!) and he owns only one other BMW, a X7 family car.
I guess nobody knows exactly how BMW is selecting customers and how they decide who gets a car and when, it is so weird. I have however the slight feeling that US customers get their cars faster than Europeans, for whatever reason. Maybe certification issues? I don't have a clue.
