Umbrella hole?

Offloading my 996 for a 997 later today and was wondering if the 997 had the same hole for the umbrella that sits next to the passenger seat in the 996

I was in Seattle a while ago and someone in the hotel called the persistent, drizzly, wetness "liquid sunshine." I had a smile on my face as I imagined my fist on his.

I have this umbrella and I found it be VERY useful when I was up in Vancouver BC recently during a rainstorm.

Yeah, I finally used my Porsche small umbrella too last weekend when my wife and I were caught in a quick downpour between where we had parked and the restaurant we were headed towards. I was surprised by its quality and sturdiness. It seemed to repel water well (maybe it has a special coating?) which enabled it to dry out quickly.

Worst umbrella ever. If you MUST have Porsche, the full size ones sold at Porsche design boutiques are quite nice and actually reasonably priced at 40$ (sturdy aluminum design)

Worst umbrella ever? Why is that? It works great for me and I got it for $51. I like the fact that it fits perfectly in the door sill pocket. The full sized umbrella would definitely not fit.

Gosh I HOPE it's a nice umbrella. It's in the Porsche Selection catalog for us$70. It _better_ be higher quality than a piece off junk you can get for us$12 in a big retail chain.

Both are going to be made in China though.
