    It has a little bit of boy racer in it, but it's still a nice looking, somewhat menacing car, imo. The final price will speak volumes, however. If BMW crosses that imaginary pricepoint, the M will lose much of it's appeal. It's always been a Euro sports coupe for the masses.

    MY2006 997S's (well optioned) with under 7k can be had in the $70-$75k range. If BMW prices this car in a similar range -and it's kind of looking that way judging by the option list- I think they'll lose a lot of buyers to used 911's.

    With the facelift and the subsequent 998 (or whatever moniker) on the horizon, used 997 prices will only get worse or better, depending on your perspective, which makes the P car choice an obvious one for many buyers; at least the smart ones.
