    XRR Carrera Sport Wheels

    Congratulations all, great cars , enjoy!
    I have seen that several of you have Carrera sport wheels fitted (which I am thinking of specifying for a 997 I will order)and I have two questions:
    1. Are they all painted in GT silver on the inside,or different colors can be specified including the "normal wheel silver" ?
    2. The factory 5mm spacers are not available with these wheels; Do you know the reason why?

    1) AFAIK, the XRR Carrera Sport wheels all come painted in GT Silver as standard. If you wanted them in another colour, I believe you would have to get another option (such as XD9 which is wheels painted in exterior colour).

    I do not know if it possible to have them painted in a colour which is different from the exterior colour BUT I would be surprised if this was not possible i.e. it could be a Porsche Exclusive option called CD9 e.g. suppose the car is Meteor Grey and you have XRR wheels painted in black rather than GT silver or Meteor Grey). However I am speculating here.

    2) The XRR wheels come with 5mm spacers as standard. No need to order them separately. Also, XRR come with 446 wheel centres with coloured Porsche crests as standard.

    My XRR wheels never came with any additional spacers. the center caps were a mandatory order when you order the XRR wheels in order to get the background silvers to match.

    ufff I think i will change my order and put the terracota leather with hlue cobalt exterior.

    Someone have a photo of these interior? o r with that combination of cobalt blue and terracota?

    Not mine, I do have a Red C4S, but I just think that this is the best picture of the rear of a C4S Ive seen...love the snow & ice hanging off it...a Porsche Camp 4 Ice training vehicle

    Gnil, I hardly comment on the snapshots taken and posted in this forum but in the case of your picture I have to admit the excellent technique of the guy that captured your 997 cornering. If not a pro he's definitely a great lover of the photography.
