Re: SUN'S LAST RUN TO WILSON, WY - 991 C2S CAB LIFE, END OF AN ERA
joe,
the Pirellis are a great tyre, but its not really mud here - except the puddles along the world's narrowest and slowest Nordschlieffe.... i can go down the drive way here the whole way without catching any dirt on the valence if i ride on the high center and stay alert... but the tyres and wheel wells are muddy. Shockin' to quote RC
i don't recommend an RS for mud with the cowcatcher snow plow valence in front, and such low clearance. Better cars are 993 and 996 and later turbos - i lived on 10 miles of dirt in Sonoita AZ in 2004, where the top 1 1/2 " turned to mud on all the roads when it rained and point and squirt was really fun, and the dealer would remove 2 inches plus of dried mud from my wheel wells every service.... but this is not something you guys would find unusual in my life
