    Can I Connect My Cell Phone to My 2006 Cayenne S?

    I just got a 2006 Cayenne S and it has a phone option where you can answer the phone and hang up, but when I push it, it says no phone connected. Can I connect my cell phone to the car? Its a verizon phone and has bluetooth, if that helps. Anybody know?????

    You need to have the Telephone Module installed. It then accepts a GSM phone SIM card in the slot on the front panel of the PCM unit and integrates with it. I have it in my 911 and it works great (you can mave the card back and forth with a regular GSM phone. It is pricey, though, a $900 option from the factory and about $2k including installation as a dealer install. It will not work with Verizon, as their phones are not GSM. There is another system, called the Porsche Cell Phone solution, which does integrate a variety of phones, but I have never seen one and don't know how well it works or how much it costs.
