Nice pictures Kreso
When is your car arriving???

ONUR
09 Audi TTS Ibis / 07 CARRERA S Meteor / 05 M3Coupe SilverGrau / 03 M3Coupe Bluewater / 96 M3Coupe EVO Estoril
Maybe never... Price is little bit too big on my market. For the same money as R8 V10 costs(manual with full options) I can get Porsche Cayman S(PDK, full options) and Audi S4(S Tronic, full options) as a daily driver. I need to think hard till end of this week...
Rossi:
Same here, new V10 wheels look too busy for my taste, but obviously there are different designs, wheels of the blue car look better IMO.

Back again!
You can order 19"(silver) from R8 4.2 FSI without any upcharge. Same wheels in Polished(like on Sepang Blue R8 V10) or Titanium(my favourite) finish is 600€(incl. Mwst) option in Germany.
BTW, did some calculation while ordering R8 V10... With same equipment it is marginally cleaper then 997 Turbo. It is actually a nice thing IMHO.

R8 V10 is a better Car than Turbo without a doubt

The V10 is certainly subtle.. I would have a hard time spotting it as different from the V8 if one went by quickly.
Kreso - Me and (2-seater wife) are still thinking similar to you ... her a new Cayman (but not PDK - a traditional 6-speed lady)... and a year later an RS5 for me (first on "list" with local dealer.... but still waiting official Audi announcement). Funny thing was - local Audi dealer called to say... he has a R8 available - I think lots of cancellations are happening over here in North America.
Present: 2005 STi, 2002 M Coupe
Future: 2009 Cayman S - pending; 2010? Audi RS5 ??
Mike S:
Kreso, how are the R8 sales now with this global economy? I haven't bothered to ask my Audi dealer what the wait time for a V10 is.
North America-there are cancellations. Europe-pretty good on small markets, average sale on big ones(Germany for example 12months waiting period for R8 V10). Asia and mid east-excellent.
Audi expects that split between V8 and V10 will be 40/60 in V10 favour.

I hope the R8 V10 manages to beat all supercars during track tests especially NBR.
If not, it will be an exercise in futility and a failed ego trip by Audi engineers.
We'll see. Sometimes too much high specification raises expectations and reality is a harsh landing.

That is wonderful news, that means the rest of the world is still survivng
I would have thought the V10 might wipe out the V8 eventually. That is human mentality, bigger, better, faster etc.
Thanks for the info Kreso!
