    Again I diagree with you. 991 Turbo S is with 1880mm not too wide? What about Huracan, 458 or forthcoming R8(which is wider then AMG GT)? Even Macan is pretty wide and you priased its handling...

    This is why my favourite is the narrow body (well compared to the others) Carrera S RWD.

    The Macan I assessed as a SUV/small saloon, not as a B road king and sports car rival.

    To repeat what I wrote few weeks ago-new AMG GT is marginally smaller then SLS AMG size wise(in lenght, it is almost as wide and hight is aslo almost the same).

    The look might be very nice,  but the proportions with the long hood relative to the driver don't help driving on narrow sweeping roads. That was my point. I would prefer a more compact design away from the 50s SL models.

    No, it doesn't look big, more like 991 size or near.

    The driver sits too far back compared to the front of the car, which is not ideal for some roads.

    Its for shure an amazing car but as the name and also now the interior implicate its a GT  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_tourer and from the layout as Reginos stated not perfect for B roads.

    You are right.

    In same language you are sitting too close to front end of the car in Huracan for example.

    And of course, you are sitting perfectly in the middle in 911...Smiley

    The Lamborghini is a "cab forward" car (similarly the 12C and the P1) and the Mercedes is a "cab rearward" one, in design parlance.

    And where are AC controls on 650S? On doors... BTW, IRIS in Mclaren is a joke IMHO. Specially in this price class.

    I wouldn't say it's a joke any more than anything else. It's Android based. Is what it is. 2.0 works fine from what I'm told. That said, name any car in any price range that has a good infotainment system comparable to a $400 phone. I haven't used the 918 system yet, probably never will, but I have no doubt in my mind that it sucks compared to an iPhone with a screen mirror. And that's a $1M car.

    I think we can all agree infotainment systems, no matter what car or price, are all worthless overpriced shit.

    iPhone 5S/N5 >> any infotainment system made in the next 5-10 years.

    IMHO AMG GT is the best looking Mercedes car ever and I will for sure get one.

    Agreed. AMG GT sounds way better then 991 Turbo S for example.

    All I can say is - I hope there is a sports exhaust option. I hear tires more than anything else. The best sound is at the end when it's going back to base. Not when it's 9/10s round the track which is v disappointing...

    Agreed. AMG GT sounds way better then 991 Turbo S for example.

    Noise has never been a Porsche strong point except the V10.

    Since so many buyers value this aspect, Porsche should do something about it without further delay. I mean so many comment about the noise first and then about the substance. Most recent example, the eulogies about the F Type exhaust noise that occupies 90% of the write ups and comments.

    Now the second half of the EVO GT3 car of the year clip proves Porsche can make a good sounding (NA) engine! TTs sound more like a missile than an engine which isn't a bad thing or a great thing.

    Exhaust sound will be included in the optional Mercedes cell phone App - Sound Mbrace. That way you can hear the exhaust sound in or out of your new Mercedes anytime you want to. It replaces the noise from conventional automobile exhaust systems.Smiley ........Porsche has something coming also with Porsche Predictive Exhaust option. It will be a step up in price from Porsche Sport Exhaust. The faster you go the more noise it will make....Smiley
