As far as I know, and I specifically asked 4-5 times at 2 different dealers, model year 2006 starts with July 2005. One dealer even specifically said it was not June 2005. Posters from England seem to talk about August/September 2005 as first month of MY 2006. For the US, it seems to be July 2005.

Hey, Peecarfan, anybody tell you about 2006 *options* that might be available? Or are you ordering a 2006 car from a 2005 order guide?
Look into it and report back to us. You might be missing out on getting Tire Pressure Monitorinbg , some new colors and trim etc... .
Seems a little fishy to me. Another possible scenario: I doubt anybody except the most fantastic sales guy in the world is gonna call you at teh last minute and ask if you want to change your order and get new available options.
