Ford Focus RS to have 350PS

This is going to be a fun hot hatch - I think I would prefer it to WRX STI (only has 305hp), Golf R400 (only has Haldex AWD), etc.  I have really enjoyed my Evo 9 (modded with 425hp and 435 ft-lbs), but there is no replacement for that car (Evo is retired next year, possibly to be reborn as a hybrid crossover - different class altogether).  The new RS is my choice if I need to replace it for now...

What is the expected price in USD of this vehicle?  Seems like a heck of a package for the money and good DD.

I haven't seen any reliable rumors, but should be in the $30k's (sorry, can't be more specific)

Indeed, looks like a fun DD - I'd skip the shouty colours on that one and try to keep it slightly more understated.  If it's anything like previous generations then nice, original, unmolested ones even maintain good value.

Yeah, I would probably choose Gray.  This is the first RS that will be sold in US, so there is a fair amount of interest here due to the novelty.  Being the first AWD model widens the appeal as well.

Same up here. I think this would have been a good seller for Ford, but better late than never. The AWD makes it a perfect winter car too.

Yes, and with hatchback (mini station wagon, estate) it is more practical than Evo and WRX STI.

Too bad Subaru dropped the STi 5-door. Smiley

The up-market hot hatch competition is really heating up!  Here is AMG's new entry:

And even a stick in an AMG?
