    Oops I did it again.... ordered a Phantom

    I went to look at the white Phantom that the dealer had in stock that arrived 2 days ago. The interior was black and not to my liking, too heavy in a car that is so big inside. It's like sitting in a black room, not very friendly.

    So I placed an order for another white Phantom with beige interior due to arrive in September. Car is basically fully loaded, will also have the visible exhausts like the "Black Edition Phantom". Now the wait!!

    You are here to set an example!!!

    As a real stand up guy you should have ordered two Phantoms and not just one.

    Please contact your dealer immediately to correct your mistake!

    You are completely nuts, you said you where going to chill once you had the LP640, but now we all know what is "chill" jajajaja )

    Perfect decision with beige interior, black interior was too heavy looking

    Sadly not in the JHB/Pretoria area.
    I will go to the beach north of Durban, then to a private game farm near Graff-Reinet and back to Durban..

    If you need to break in your car... a drive to the coast would be the best thing to do !!!!!!

    Now, I'm quite envious of your ability to buy cars (nice cars) more often than I change my undies, I really am, but I feel I have to ask you a question. It's not out of jealousy or anything like that but this last purchase seems to be against the grain a little, when compared to your other purchases that is.

    Now this is nothing personal you understand so please don't be offended but "why on earth have you bought a Phantom?" I know cars bought by enthusiasts (and I consider you an enthusiast) are usually bought with their hearts and not their heads, but a Phantom!!

    Now before everyone starts abusing me and saying, he can do what he likes, what's it got to do with you etc etc I agree totally, it's just it seems like a purchase because you can as opposed to "because you want" or even "need" it.

    I think it's possibly because you've had everything else so why not, but it just isn't you IMO.

    I think you are forgetting that he used to have a Bentley Arnage, which the Phantom is replacing. Actually Mike's car buying habit is very very similar to a friend here. Here some of the example of his recent cars: F430, Murcielago, Arnage, Continental GT, SL65, 911 Turbo, Golf R32, Gallardo Spyder, various X5, 7 series and S-class...maybe Mike is his twin?

    Possibly. However, the Bentley was "IMO" a far better looking car.
