ALMS at Mid-Ohio - Awesome race!
How amazing was the Audi knifing through traffic to assert it dominance before oddly falling behind due to a pit stop and then an off? That was Werner driving, right? Wow! He made some awesome, impossible looking moves.
And then the Enge - Salo battle! Wow! Obviously Enge is faster, but for some reason he just can't qualify ahead of Salo, and so stays stuck on his tail the whole race. That little touch by Enge was caused by traffic, not bad driving. You cuold see smoke off his right rear as he locked it up trying to avoid contact. And now I have heard he is banned? Poor choice, considering it was Salo that intentionally rammed him, and then admitted it on TV! Salo should be banned, not Enge. There is no room for that kind of behavior in racing. People die. Yes, Enge has been a bit of a loose cannon, but yesterday the blame is all on Salo. He probably got tired of having him in his mirrors and is making as much of this as possible to get Enge out of the series.
Tsk tsk Enge, booo Salo.
And Porsche picks up another GT2 win only because Ferrari self destructed.
