First I have to know: are you a driver type or a poser type?
The problem with 19'' wheels is: if you want the AMG 19'' wheels for the E55, they're very very expensive. AMG needs to modify a few things on the car (fenders, etc.) which adds another 2000+ Euro to the cost of the rims/tires. Not a cheap thing to do.
If you don't drive your car too fast and if you never drive it on the track, you might want to go for Brabus or Carlsson/Lorinser wheels as well.Another "problem": as far as I know, the AMG 19'' wheels are not approved for the 300 kph speed limit yet due to tire issues.
And forget about a rear spoiler lid, looks horrible, especially on a limousine.

reference driver or poser,bit of both i suppose,which is why guys like us buy these cars i suppose,otherwise we would all drive lexusor something similar,my background is that iam a director of a mail order company that specialise in high performance car parts for jap and cosworth cars,my customers always look at what iam driving,the last time i took a amg vehicle on the track was a nurbergring and it was a c43 amg,personally these cars were not designed for a track,cars are superb on a motorway but not fast sweeping demanding bends,i have driven a 500 bhp escort cosworth on all the tracks in the uk and its superb,but i would not dare drive it down the motorway for any lenghth of time,the reason as i stated earlier that i wanted a set of wheels and rear spoiler was to make the car look different to all the others,everyone has different opinions and i have seen the mkb spoiler fitted to the e55 and i feel it looks great.But if your telling me that the amg 19" wheels require mods then i will be going for another wheel,i just feel that the 18" looks to small on this large a car.
