    Has anyone done the GMG racing exhaust yet for GT3

    Considering putting in the GMG exhaust system for 997 GT3. Advantages of 20lb weight savings, and slight increase in HP 5-7 HP. But the biggest advantage is the sound. On the www.gmgracing.com website there is a demo of a badass white GT3 with the exhaust system and it sounds incredible. Has anyone done this yet, and what are your impressions?

    I actually don't like the sound the exhaust makes, it sounds a bit "unhealthy" even, if I were you, I'd wait for other manufacturers to finish their GT3-exhaust so you can compare.
    There must be a reason why tuners need some time to develop a superior system than Porsche's...

    I do like the exhaust tips of the GMS system though...

    Not sure what is there to improve on the GT3 in terms of sound...

    Actually went to GMG racing and got a demo of the sound on the exhaust from their 997 GT3. It does sound incredible. The GMG exhaust with sport button OFF sounds similar to the stock GT3 with sport mode button ON. Now with the Sport button ON with the GMG exhaust, it sounds just ridiculous. Maybe a little too loud. I am going to get it intalled next tuesday. No void in warranty and the original parts can be placed back on.

    You should let us know how you like it.

    I do not know if it is just me or my PC but I really could barely tell the difference between "sport off" and "sport on" on the GMG videos posted a few days back.
