    Love my Turbo...why off-roading isn't the only advantage

    Look at this picture. It happens to me almost every day that I don't find a parking lot and I have to park my Turbo in the most "impossible" places.
    The Cayenne is the perfect vehicle for the city "jungle".
    I raised the air suspension to the highest off-road position and the gap between the undercarriage and the ground was pretty small. So you might get an idea how BAD this "parking lot" really was.
    A guy who passed by when I parked it asked me if I'm not afraid that my car will flip. He was really impressed...

    It looks like one of those "women can't drive" photos but just shows one of the benefits of such a rugged vehicle.

    we should mail this picture to the mayors of paris and london... they'll love it. it will probably convince them that SUV's could solve the problem with lack of inner city parking space

    I would think that kind of parking on the ?grass would enrage our tree-hugging friends into spray painting/otherwise vandalizing your gas-guzzling, evil capitalist-carrying SUV

    Believe it or not but "Red Ken", the major of London, wants to bring the Formula One to London City. Right inside the city, similar to the Monaco Grand Prix, no kidding!
    Like the old romans did, give the people bread and games and they'll be happy and don't care about real politics.

    I also want to point out again that the picture really doesn't show how nasty this "parking lot" was. Try to look at the right wheels next to the street and look especially at the rear right tire. And I got out without any problem.

    Another situation when I raise the air suspension but not for off-roading: when I bring my little daughter to her English lessons, I have to turn the car in a field and the field is actually slightly lower than the street. The other mothers and fathers usually have to go backwards and this is pretty dangerous because the street is unpaved and very narrow.
    I have more examples where the air suspension comes in very handy but maybe I post some pictures from time to time.

    So if some people argue that don't need a SUV because they don't go off-roading, they're definetely wrong. Just can't wait for the winter time to come, I want to see those faces in the mountains when I park my raised Cayenne in deep snow.
