    How do you torque brake your tip "properly" ? I, to date, have not done this.

    Easy...hold your brake while pressing the gas with the car in "D" gear. Go up to about 4000 rpms then release the brake. Off you go...

    Atomic80 nailed it on. I personally put my left foot on the brake and rev up with right foot (up and down) while I have seen people just bring it up to 4K and release the brake. Although my TT is 6 speed the 997TT is a serious contender in hands of a skilled driver.

    same procedure when you make a funny youtube side by side race, e.g. M6 - 997TT ;-) or you wanna have better 100 - 200 kph times;-)))

    drive at desired start speed and keep that speed while you are pushing brakes and throttle until boost is up. When time has com -> pedal to metal and release breakes.

    This should be done quite fast, because your breaks are geeting pretty hot (if you want so, after 10-15 secs you can see your discs getting red;-))

    Although it sounds rude, your P doesn't have a problem with that at all;-))))

    A little sidenote: don't do this too often, especially within a very short time frame one try after another because you may end up with a broken Tiptronic.
    This method is also NOT recommended for tuned Tiptronic cars due to the increased power and especially torque at lower rev figures. The tuned RUF Turbo I testdrove did 3.9 seconds from 0-100 kph (62 mph) WITHOUT the torque/brake method, so for the wealth of the Tiptronic, forget about those additional 0.3-0.5 seconds you can shave off the acceleration time because you may permanently damage the auto tranny.
