    Bonnet badges..

    Anyone noticed how thin and 'cheap looking' the bonnet badge is on the 997.2 compared to the 997.1

    Some models in the past even had stickers to save weight

    Yes I can understand that, for track purposes...but an ounce or so on a standard model...???

    Do you happen to have comparative pictures?
    In my romantic view, the badge is the soul of the car. Even if I would buy a GT3 rs, I would special order a "standard" badge for it. Sounds a little disappointing to me if porsche is trying to save some money on that item...

    Totally agree.  Sorry, I don't have comparative photos as I only noticed it when I took a 24 hour test drive to try out PDK.  When the test car was parked alongside mine the difference in badge quality and feel was very apparent..Smiley
