MG coupes to be built in Oklahoma!
Nanjing Confirms MG, U.S. Production
"A late news release from China's Nanjing Automobile Group confirms a report yesterday that the famed British marque will be revived, and will eventually produce cars in the U.S. Automotive News reports that the new iteration of MG will produce vehicles on three continents: the old Longbridge, U.K. plant will built roadsters, while a plant in Ardmore, Okla., will build a new coupe. One of Nanjing's Chinese plants will build three sedans. Sales are expected to begin in the middle of 2008. Company officials plan a July 12 announcement in Oklahoma to outline their plans."
