It is constantly guessing based on your driving habits. If you got on the highway and took it easy from the start I doubt the miles woud disappear like that. Strange though because it acts like you are going to 'reform' your habits at the start of each tank (not likely) rather than take your past into account. I have had mine go the other way, go from city driving to highway and watched extra miles added on to the range as it recalculates based on current driving.

The issue IMO is not so much that it reads less at full (difference of average consumption of 10.3 lt/100km and 13.8 lt/100km in previous distance is plausible) but that it stays at 450km for some 150km. This is too much for a 911, even taking into account that it calculates based on the last distance. If it was a diesel with a 1000km theoretical range, it might be.
