Just saw one of my neighbor drive by with his GT2 RS in a stunning light blue metallic paint .

It suits the car so well , as it makes the beast less agressive but still keeps a special stance. We are back to more metallic paints again after a few years of mainly non metallic when ordering PTS .

It looked like that light blue we saw a lot in the early 80's on the 930 Turbo .

Would be my choice right now

This is a classic 911 color for me. Love it!

It works so well with the more agressive black parts of the car . Just perfect . Too much of this blue would be too ' soft' .

The combination of WP and the black parts from the spoiler at the back with this was absolutely stunning

Ice green works in the same way. I think it would have been spectacular on a 918

This is Lindgrün metallic (Y1) a 1978 and 1980 color. Not available on the current PTS approved list.

I don't see it like that. IMO, Porsche is at the forefront with state of the art vehicles like the 918 and the upcoming Taycan. Porsche is rooted in history though, but for the past ten years, all memorial models were mainly parts bin exercises, with the exception of maybe one ore two models. I really enjoy that they seem to have taken it quite a bit farther this time.

To be fair, that is because Porsche actually has a history and can do both, I see no problem commemorating former glories, its important Porsche values their racing pedigree, so while this car is not my type (I think those wheel/tires combo is just, wrong) Im very happy to see it happening!

Got an offer to buy one, but it’s not street legal, so said no. But some other guys I know said yes, so let’s see if something pops up here on the forum about this in the near future...... angry
