    Torsional rigidity

    Torsional rigidity of the Koenigsegg.

    "The monocoque has been evaluated by the University of Lund, and found to have a torsional rigidity of 28.100 Nm/degree, which is superior to that of any competitor."

    Question What is the torsional rigidity of the Carrera GT?

    Perhaps you should ask Lund University? They must know, to be able to make the statement that the torsional rigidity of the Koenigsegg "is superior to that of any competitor".

    Unless, of course, they don't think the Koenigsegg is a worthy competitor to the CGT?

    It's really funny that you are talking about Koenigsegg, right before your post I was visiting their site .

    Was the info on the CCR ?

    I believe the number is the same for both models.

    I also have a simple question: where does the University of Lund have the comparison data from the competition from? Directly from Ferrari and Porsche? I doubt it. Did they test it on the Enzo and CGT? I doubt that too.
    I don't say it is not true but I really wonder where the University of Lund got the info from.

    28.100NM/degree superior to that of any competitor? interesting... then the Audi A6 must be in a superior class than the Koenigsegg cause this BBC article quotes 36,000Nm/degree for the new Audi A6 with its aluminum chasis

    BTW, Porsche 911 Turbo has a torsional stiffnes of 27,000 Nm/degree, and the Phamtom's I believe is the stiffest that I know of with 40,500Nm/degree

    Do you know the number for the GT2 Clubsport or the GT3 Supercup racecar with the welded in rollcage?
