Just phoned my dealer (Porsche West London) asking if I could drop by and have this looked at while I wait. Oh if only it were that simple - they said it would have to be in for at least the whole day, and if I wanted a courtesy car, I would have to wait until the end of April! I cannot believe this level of service - I said that car is barely six weeks old and I'm now going to have to drive around with a squeaky clutch pedal (which is more irritating than it sounds believe me) for another month.
I pointed out that when I had problems with my car handbrake straight after taking delivery, a courtesy car was available immediately. How could things have changed that much since then? I was just told that they were very busy. Great. Makes me think that now that my car is no longer new, I am just another customer who can be treated like dirt.
