    997tt over boosting the turbo off the line

    Gents:

    The other day I drove my TT with tennis shoes as I was coming home from the gym. Since the shoes are rather big (I wear size 12-13) when I took off from a dead stop I accidently pressed the accelerator pedal too hard as I released the clutch. I was not paying attention as I was talking to the passenger. I don't know what happend all I know is that the car started hesitating really bad until I let go and of the accelerator and then everything was normal again. Any ideas what happened

    Clutch slipping, and traction control mediation. I recommend driving shoes - narrow fit with smooth edges to avoid tangling with pedal edges.

    Thanks Adias. That's what I thought. Nevertheless I could have never had this episode in my 997S. For some reason it was so different.

    You have a helluva more power in the Turbo, that's why.
