    New 997S Slate Cocoa

    Hi everyone,

    I picked up my new C2S a couple of weeks ago, and wanted to thank everyone on this forum for all the excellent advice concerning the various options. Here's my thoughts so far on some of the options I went for:

    Colour: I appreciate that colour is a very individual choice, but I'm delighted with the Slate/Cocoa combo. It looks very rich in real life.

    Adaptive Sport Seats: Brilliant! Both my wife and I love them - very supportive and comfortable.

    Carrera Classics: Again, an individual choice, but really easy to clean!

    Sport Chrono: Great fun, love the way it changes the character of the car.

    Sports Exhaust: If I could only have ONE option, this would be it!!

    Nav and Tel: Too early to tell.

    Bose: Seems OK - produces lots of volume, especially on the bass, but I've been too busy listening to the PSE!

    Anyway, thanks again to all of you for the great advice on this forum - now, where's my car keys???

    Great colour combination. I'm sure it's very rare. People may assume it doesn't work but it's clear from your photo that it can and does work. Looks very rich.

    Some people have not liked that combination but I think it is one of the best for that silver. Good luck with that beauty!

    Congrats on your new ride with an IMO wonderful colour combo: I saw it in the flesh for the first time on a buddy's new 987 S (he matched it up with the Carrea Sport wheels) some weeks ago and I must say it really looked fantastic

    I saw this combination on a 997S about six months ago, and it really looked unbelievably rich and elegant. It's one of those combinations that just doesn't click in your head when you're reading about it on paper; however, when you look at it in the flesh, it knocks your socks off. Very beautiful car--congratulations!

    Hi everyone, thanks for the great comments. I'm away on a trip at the moment, but will post more pics of the colour combo when I get back next week (after I get a chance to drive the wheels off the thing, of course!!)

    Congrats! Very unique combo, from your first pic, the cocoa looks like its made of very deep, rich leather. Very nice and enjoy your "run in" with the engine. I've got similar specs to yours except the sports adaptive seats.
