Last 911 drive for 2013…day trip notes and photos
Our 997.2 typically sees 7 months of full time use, and 5 months of winter storage (Nov-March), and so it is this year. With a sunny 7C day, but colder weather and some snow forecast for the next few weeks, this is likely the last fun drive for the 911 for this year (sob…). Three hours of just exploring local roads on a beautiful day. We are near the northern extent of grain farming in this area, so by 40 minutes we are out of the farm country and into mixed deciduous forest, small lakes and ponds. Despite the warm air, a week of below freezing nights has left a thin layer of ice on most standing water. Enjoy!
