Porker:
Hi Porker,
I want to ask you which system you went for with Dundon and if you have any error code on dashboard? I need to start thinking about the diet program

Missile!
It’s their long-tube race headers and black muffler. It’s the lightest/loudest they offer, but it’s still valved so quite reasonable in the city.

Gnil:something has changed
Now even better then at Monza , but not sure you pass the db test on all tracks

For sure an issue at most tracks, but those I like are quite lenient anyway (Spa, Dijon, NS)

Dang it Porker, here I was having talked myself in trying the AWE switch exhaust instead of the Dundon and save a bunch of money. Then you had to go and upload this! Sounds incredible, guess it's back to Dundon headers and exhaust...

None at all.

Other than being louder, it seems that the pitch is higher as well now - correct? Has it lost some of the growl that is a signature of this engine?

I don’t know the other offerings, I realize this a very expensive upgrade but I certainly haven’t looked back after experiencing it.

Actually no. I’m surprised how high pitched it sounds on the approach, the sound you hear in the cabin is more the growl you hear in the video when the car has passed. It sounds very 911.

I believe it's because the sound is being significantly doppler shifted as the GT3 approaches towards the camera at high speed and the wavelength is being compressed into a much higher frecuency than the actual sound, while in the cabin you are running away from the sound and is shifted to a lower frecuency, just like when it passes the camera.
BTW, sounds AMAZING!

That's a relief . Would have been a shame to lose the growl.

It's not the best angle for the Ferrari, I'll share a few good ones when they're finished. I've really come to love the Lusso.

Recently we organized a shoot with a friend who's a bit handy with a camera, he did some work for Top Gear recently. I must say it turned out great. Click the images to see the proper quality.
