    997s Aftermarket muffler

    Who has installed aftermarket mufflers and how do you like the sound, performance?

    I've got Fabspeed now with over 8500 miles on them and they are really nice!

    I was cheap. I just pulled out all the baffling in the stock unit and used an old Foldger's coffee can from the outlet back. For some reason it sounds a little "tinny" but I'm getting adjusted.

    I wish I had installed the fabspeed instead of the supersprint. I sound like my original stock exhaust. I took the recommendation of my installer.

    Before making your mind don't forget to consider the Europipe integrated system, not just the mufflers. Apart from the upgraded sound you also get 16 bhp. Try some search within Rennteam's threads so you could gain better understanding on the issue.

    However, I'm about to cover 2.5k km from Athens to Antwerp combining a EuroTour vacation with a visit to their workshop just to have their system istalled on my 997 C2S.
