Ok the bad news now:
SDMIS just updated their site; Auto Banner has just been pushed back to 10/19, 4:00
Last port show Port Hueneme.....WTF???
Comon' now, the Auto Banner came through the Panama Canal, then SAILED PAST San Diego up to Oxnard???
I don't get it. I just don't get it
Someone in the logistics department needs to be fired
So anyways IF the damn boat ever get here, here's a little more info to whet your whistle-
Based on the info from this link I believe the Auto Banner will be docking at National City Marine Termainal in Port of San Diego. This is the major auto distribution location, and it's run by PASHA. Info is further verified according to the SDMIS site:

I'd really like to know what prompted the ship to hit a port out of sequence like this. Was it loaded incorrectly? I have a hard time believing that.
My buddy (a conspiracy theorist by nature) thinks the crew picked up their shipment of drugs passing through South America (probably just this side of the canal), and bypassed San Diego in favor of Oxnard due to less stringent customs inspections. Who knows, maybe he's right!

Depending on your dealer's location (L.A., San Diego, etc), plus chance (luck), my Porsche's very recent delivery (typical??) schedule for a San Diego arrival went like this: My car was unloaded from the freighter sometime between 4 am-4 pm on Sunday. Arrived at dealer's PDI location Thursday mid-day. On late Friday afternoon arrived at showroom (4 miles from PDI location) . I "took delivery" Saturday morning, although I could have picked it up Friday, but then I'd have had to drive in rush hour traffic, or at night, for the first ride.
Don't give up hope- I think you'll take delivery just in time. Taking the 997 to Vegas would make for a fun outing! Just make sure to vary the speed as much as possible)
I've got tentative plans to take a nice run up the coast that same weekend to start the break-in
oh man i'm pathetic. while loading up the SD port schedule this morning my heart was pounding so hard, then I saw the date/time remained at 4am this morning. YEAH BABY!!!!
Ok, I figure thi is an emergency situation, so I just called their emergency contact number (yes, I have no shame!). The lady on the line was very nice and spent the last five mins checking. As it stands, I'm waiting for them to call me back; I will post again as soon as I hear back.
I went Arctic Silver/Black interior. This is my very first P-car. I just love the combo to begin with, plus I wanted to go the traditional route since it's my first.
Ok, Annette from Port of SD just called me back. She confirmed Auto Banner arrived in dock at 5:40am. SWEET!!
went down to the dealer ysterday ... found out that there was a black/black 911S coming in. I asked, is it "black / sea blue?", they said "no, black black".
then I got home, looked my order sheet ... "black / black + sea blue adjustable sports seats + floor matt "
so is it possible that it IS my car coming in?
9:06am .... expecting a phone call any minute now ...
I'm Guessing it will be at the dealer on Monday. I don't think they make deliveries to the dealerships on Sundays. The boat has long since sailed. It should be any day. Kevin, when did you put in your order? I ordered mine in June. My cousin ordered a Cab in May and it is on the Auto Banner, too. Seems too long to wait. What have I learned?: Put in the deposit for your next P-car as soon as the "new car smell" fades from our new cars. Cheers, and hope to see pics of your car. I will put a bunch of mine because i have gotten some unique options.
