    How old when you bought your first 911 Turbo

    I read somewhere that the average age of a Porsche 911 owner is 53 years old. And that's just 911, not the Turbo.

    I am wondering what the general age range of Turbo owners are. How old are you now and how old were you when you bought your first 911 Turbo?

    I'm 36. I put in my order last month (when I was 35) with an August 31 estimated delivery (got lucky on the build time).

    53 (!) for first 911 Turbo.

    32 for first Porsche, a 944. I've also had a 993 and a Boxster S.

    I was 44 when I bought my first Porsche, a Carrera 2. I now have a Boxster S. This year I'm 53 (!) and my turbo will be delivered in about 4 months.

    28 first one, 996 C4S, 32 first Turbo, 997 Turbo.

    So I guess the rule is you have to either post age is 32 or 53, no other age allowed.

    I will have just turned 32 when I get mine; seems so far away

    1st Porsche was my 997 C2S Cab bought as a 30th birthday present to myself as a reward for all those 100hr av working weeks I do.

    Bought my first Porsche used at around 20 years old (an orange 1973 911T). Today, 5 Porsches later I purchased my first Turbo charged Porsche at the age of 48.

    39 Now 24 turbos later with an 07 I am 64. My next is a GT2.

    Hahahaha...I didn't even notice that I'd hit my 1300th post here! I think that my next Porsche will probably be a 998 GT2 if there's even going to be one. Maybe a 998 GT3 instead. This 997TT is definitely a keeper for me!

    I had an '03 996 C2 cab when I was 31, traded it for a 993TT when I was 32 - My '08 997tt will be here when I'm 37.

    New 911SC 1n 1978 @ 28. 993 Turbo @ 45, 996 Turbo @ 49, 997 Turbo @ 55 & again @ 56. 7 or 8 others (928, Boxsters [wife], 911's) between 1978 & now.

    34 with my new 79-930, 24 with my 1st porsche, a perfect 56 speedster for 3200.00, oops sorry to f_ _ k up the cool younger demographic, oh well having the most fun with my 997tt, my 6th pcar.

    was 43 yo 996 cab first p car 49yo 07 997 cab tt not yet have to get divorced 1 st. wife would go nuts daughter would love it though

    I was 47; a '97 993TT coupe (my third Porsche in Signal yellow).

    First new Porsche was '73 914-4 2.0 when I was 23.
