    GT3 - Leads anyone?

    I've been trying to find a GT3 since I cancelled my 997TT order 2 months ago when my turn came around at my local dealer. Total mixup after that with the result that I am now way down the waiting list for a GT3 with my local dealer despite being at the front of both (GT3 and TT) when I decided to cancel the TT.

    Have spent too much time ringing around and scouring the web for a GT3 - hence this post (could only find crazy priced way over MSRP examples). If anyone has a lead or dealer who has a GT3 allocation coming up, I'd be very interested in hearing from you. Wouldnt normally post like this, but given the reach of everyone here though that I would try anyway. Sorry if this offends anyone...

    I heard McKenna in Southern Ca may have one available and my salesman in Northern Ca has a June build available.

    Becareful with Mckenna. They are notorious for marking up their GT3's. Try Beverly Hills Porsche. Largest dealership in the US and possibly the world. That's what they tell me, anyway. I definitely think you might have shot with them.

    McKenna will let it go at MSRP or at least they just did on a speed yellow to a guy on Rennlist.

    I was actually there when the guy made the purchase. On Mckenna's first two GT3s, they were trying to ask for 25K above sticker. A white GT3 onesat there for a couple of weeks. The yellow sat there for at least a week. I told him because he did see my GT3 and I told don't pay for anything above sticker. There is a salesman named Tim there and he told me the waiting list was at least 15 cars. And that was last week.

    Call Jason Feurberg at Park Place Porsche in Dallas. I talked to him last week and he said they have some allocations available. Also, they do NOT sell above MSRP.

    I am a Porsche salesperson, but unfortunately I don't have one available. You can call Darryl at Porsche of Hawaii, he has one due in in a couple weeks that is available. Silver/black @ MSRP ($122k or so). His # is 808.592.7404 If you talk to him tell him Tim referred you. Good luck!

    are Official Porsche Dealers allowed to mark up!!! as for finding one at list price, sorry to have to say it to you, but good luck... especially if you're looking for the popular Carrera White exterior color...

    ...customer order - looks like the porsche stock list doesnt take into account those cars that are sold. Thanks for the lead anyway.

    AT MSRP! Currently White but you can still choose all options. I WANTED this car but in the end I decided to wait for DIRECT INJECTION and to keep a back seat for the kids.
