    19" Tires ... 255 V. 275 V. 285

    Greetings,

    So I need to change the tires on my 19x9 OEM Cayenne wheels. Michelin Diamaris come in 275 and 285 sizes.....I'm wondering if the 285's will give me a slightly softer ride.

    Also, I can put the 255x50's......and even the 255x55 synchronos (the bmw and merc tire).....now that is sure to give me a softer ride.

    Does anyone have a 255x50 or 255x55 on their 19" wheels?

    What do you guys think?

    From this board and others I've seen that the preference for tires at this size is:

    1. Michelin
    2. Pirelli

    I think that:

    A. you should stay with factory sizes/N-specs
    B. go for the Diamaris

    "Softer" ride? If you have the air suspension, switch to comfort mode.
    If not, bad luck. You can't get it much "softer".
