    Initial Impressions:  Fit and finish as well as materials excellent.  There’s really not much to add beyond what was said in the extensive coverage already posted here.  The car is excellent and a relative bargain compared with is peers.  The only downside is the snug cabin given the large footprint of the car.  While I haven’t tracked the car yet, wearing a helmet and HANS device is a bit challenging and tight.  The passenger has it worse with far less room because of the goofy console design with the near vertical row of buttons.  It wouldn’t be a General Motors product without some idiosyncrasies.

    For example no AWD and that stupid rear wing/lip design. Smiley Smiley

    The eRay does provide awd capabilities with limited downside.   The wing is on the Z07 option package and there are ways to get that package minus the wing.

    What is going on? Z06 models were available at multiple dealers and most had incentives earlier this summer.   Today I received a call from a dealership I have never dealt with wanting to purchase mine for $100,000 more than I paid for it earlier this year.   Prices on the secondary markets are now matching Porsche 911 GT3 prices.  This is insane.

Z06 models were available at multiple dealers and most had incentives earlier this summer.   Today I received a call from a dealership I have never dealt with wanting to purchase mine for $100,000 more than I paid for it earlier this year.   Prices on the secondary markets are now matching Porsche 911 GT3 prices.  This is insane.  

    $100,000?!  That's wild.

    I think the base C8 is a better value than the E-ray (originally cost half about as much)
