Looking for COCOA leather parts
To all the special leather fanatics out there.
I have a 987S in GT silver with cocoa interior since June 05. When I ordered the car I ordered some parts covered in leather in addition. Parts which where not available then officially. But the representant of Porsche Exclusive told me in March 05 to order the parts as they should be available until my car would be built otherwise he would take care of organizing the parts after my car is delivered. I got the car in June 05 and the special parts where not installed. Now - June 06 !! - the parts finally arrived. And guess what - some parts did not fit because Porsche sent them for the 06 model year. What I am speaking about ist the border around the windscreen, the triangles at the side rearview-mirrors and the steering wheel column. The side panels of the border around windscreen seems to have different anchors for the model year 06 than for 05.
As this causes new problem in getting the parts replaced - because the partis did not come on the official way as spare parts - my dealer told me that ordering more additional parts seems to be more or less impossible.
But I would be interested in getting some more parts. Therefore I am looking for someone having these parts installed by the factory and willing to order these as spare parts - maybe claiming that his parts are damaged and that he needs replacement.
I would like to have the following parts covered in cocoa leather:
Cover of the fuse box in the feed compartment
inside step driver and passenger side
center rearview mirror
Is there anybody in the forum with these parts willing to help me?
