A couple of Audi S5 videos

You have to give Audi one thing - they sure know how to make their (V8) cars sound fantastic.
First the RS4 and R8, and now the S5 as well. It also has that proper deep V8 rumble.
It looks nice too, especially in black

Just got back from Beijing, there is an S5 sitting in the showroom (audi showroom hq in wang fu jing)

They always seem to have the newest stuff, they had the new S3 months before anywhere else...

The S5 looked a bit awkward and poorly done in my opinion. It is surely no CL/CLK competitor...

Moogle you getting a AMV8 as well? Good choice.

I played with and sat in the S5 back in Feb at the Melbourne Motor show. It was unveiled in parallel with Geneva. I think it is a stunning looking car. I am waiting for the RS5 though.

Btw, does Audi in Beijing still have the big glass structure out front? I thought it was really cool the first time I saw it a few years back. I am going to be in Shanghai/Beijing in a week so may check out the S5 again.

Now that I live in NYC, the AMV8 is much better for going to the hamptons/etc.

The Beijing Audi forum I am talking about is the one in the huge mall, same building as the grand hyatt beijing. the whole thing is a "large glass structure"

Beijing is fun, just don't breath in the air too much

There is also an new TT and also an R8 at the showroom with carbon side blades, quite stunning in person, the interior quality is second to none!

Went there today. It's the same one that I went to 2 years ago, except two years ago they had a 2 story large glass cube out front with an A8 suspended on it. Anyway, took a pic of the white R8 with the CF side blade. You can also see the silver S5 in the background.

Hi Guy's ,,

Just sat in a S5 and found the interior okayish , but , the steering wheel is real kack , not sure if you can upgrade it though..

Started the engine and must say that V8 rumble is sure something , very nice and should help sales figures..Having said that the sales guy said if you spec one now you can have it in November , he also said there could be some laying around now up for grabs . Whats going on ? , why the wait so short..Test driving one next Saturday anyway..

Also (FWIW) , he reckon's BMW are cutting 5% off the list price on the new M3 because of bad mag reports , that does not sound right at all...
