Whoopsy:spudgun:Singer don’t build ‘new’ cars, so they don’t have to comply with the latest safety regulations, if I remember correctly...
My 124 Spider, met the same regulation yet it's tiny parking next to a 991, let alone a 992.
I’m not comparing car sizes, off course there are smaller cars I’m comparing car platforms/generations.
Please show me a car model that got smaller with a new generation. Even the Singer got wider than the original 964 it’s based on…

Oh they can. They are Exclusive, you know.
We're at the point where you can be the fastest or just sound like you're the fastest.
The secret of life is to admire without desiring.

My P is certainly Exclusive...
Joking aside, that thumb print is just...how to put it...Kardashian. Who wants this on his car? I've seen hundreds of foil jobs for cars but never seen a thumbprint.

I guess the best you can say about this is that it does demonstrate the expertise and proficiency of the Exclusive Department. The millions of gray, white, silver and black cars around the world can be pretty boring, even depressing. And, at least on this thread, we’re not talking about 0 to 60 acceleration times.
You guys know that’s Mark Webber’s fingerprint, right?

There is no try. Just do.
Rossi:So can they do Webber‘s penis on the hood as well?

Not sure if he wants to...well...depends on how Exclusive it is.

Anyone have a miami blue 992 ? No.
Any views on the color? Yes. I think a 992 (on the Porsche Configurator) looks a bit "blown up" in Miami Blue...so, not really a fan of this color, however, put some white (Porsche) stripes on it to hide the - to me - massiv proportions, why not ...

Colours as always are a personal thing, but I think Miami blue is an amazing colour on 911’s - in fact I was very sorely tempted by a very low mileage 991/2 GTS in that colour but eventually head ruled heart (for once) and I walked away...😢

Thanks guys. My dealer is all over me with a very aggressive discount on a Miami Blue 992 4S with shiny black rims, very much like the GTS in the picture above. The car is very striking and aggressive looking. My problem, and I hate to admit it, is that I live in a large metropolitan area where most cars are gray, silver or black, etc. The car would really stand out, and I’m not sure I’m comfortable with that. Probably a personality flaw, but that’s what Is holding me back.

If my experience is any help, I'm just like you, always picked conservative colors for the 911 and don't like grabbing too much attention and prefer passing unnoticed when I'm enjoying the car, so I had the same conundrum when choosing the color of the 991GTS, it looked amazing in the GTS Carmine red but was initially very unsure and uncomfortable with such a eye catching color, thanks to the reassurance of some of the members of this forum I decided to go for it and turns out I never regretted it, love the color every time I see it, and while it catches extra attention, you get used to it, it is just a 911 after all. So imo go for it!

Life is too short. Pick the colour YOU like, forget about everyone else, look ahead, focus, drive, and enjoy. It works really well - try it.

If you are talking about the US, go for it. If you are talking about France...I would think twice about that.

The fact that you're hesitant even with a significant discount ( that should tell you something. The dealer is trying to unload it) tells you all you need to know. Driving the car will make you feel uncomfortable. I have seen Miami Blue on a Porsche and in my opinion it's not a color for a Porsche. It has a feminine look to it. It might be better on a Boxster.
There are just too many good Porsche colors to choose from.
When you're going through hell.....keep going.

Attached is a link to a fairly comprehensive listing of blues on the 911. According to the author’s opinion, Miami blue is a very suitable color. https://gearpatrol.com/2019/12/11/definitive-ranking-blue-porsche-911/. Too many Porsche owners tend to shy away from more bold colors for Porsches; however, bold is always suitable on a sports car.
