Yes...497 HP on the dyno...and I used the speedshifting of the GT3, but the 992 S was direct behind me and had my slipstream.

Great pics, thought about taking the After Work Slot, but had timing problems...how did the hygene concept work ? I am booked for Salzburgring in August only and just would like to know .... 263 km/h , impressive... my little toy gets to around 225 km/h ...

Just mask inside, no drivers brifing and no big lunch, just a quick sandwich - but no big deal...nothing spoiled the fun.

Another remark of this great trackday...the Ferrari 488 Pista is a serious track tool...the first time in 30 years, that I see owners use these italian cars really hard for more than two laps.
This car is amazing fast and had no problems over the whole day - stunning...
OK one the two Pistas visited the gravel at the Sachskurve - the damage on the carbon blades on both sides and the front will cost approx. 30K€, but the owner was not shocked and carried on.

The suspension has a different tuning (a bit softer) for the Touring which makes it a bit less compliant on track. the downforce is obviously different but nothing noticeable at low speed.

I drove last year on the same day at Hockenheim my car and a .2 Wing-GT3...at this track you can feel the difference at two sections clearly - the quick 175 Km/h righthander to the Mercedes tribune and under hard braking from to the hairpin.
The Touring is here more alife...

A little sunday trip to a sportscar-breakfast near Stuttgart at Signal-Design.
Dr. Frank-Steffen Walliser (former head of Porsche Motorsport and now in charge of 911/718) signed my Touring and gave during an interview very interesting infos about the future of sportscars...the important message for us is to enjoy the next 5 to 10 years. 
For example a Taycan with sportstyres can´t match the noise emission rules of the near future and regarding the 992 GT3, they are still fighting to meet the emission targets - release date 2021.
Lots of interesting cars...a very special one of "Jägermeister" 935, a pre-Series car of the Exklusive Heritage Targa and a prototype Aston Martin DBX.

This would mean, that the 992.1 GT3 RS could be hybrid already, because emission laws will get stricter still, same for all following GT3 variants (992.2 GT3 etc).

Now you know why I went for a Huracan Performante. The last real dinosaur.

Yep, some issues with the n/a engine and emissions, incl. sound emissions. Power could be slightly less than previously planned. 
My take on this: Last n/a GT generation.
The release date 2021 has been discussed here already, so sad it has been basically confirmed.
Interesting take on the Tycan with sports tires, I didn't know that. Thanks. I always thought they are planning some sorts of GT version of the Taycan but I guess this is history.
