    997S trackday videos

    Yesterday I drove my car (or RC car )in Magione (in the middle of Italy)
    here there are 2 videos with my 997S vs 996TT and 996 Gt3 .
    take a look and examie in the long straight how 997S is fast against 996 TT or Gt3

    Have you experimented with the lap timer function?

    Carlos , the 996TT's owner is a friend ....we were joking ....and for my friend it's impossible that a poor 355 hp 997S is faster than a 996 TT ...
    But this was the last track day with his 996 TT ,on monday he'll have a new 997S ....so he was happy !

    the Gt3 owner wansn't my friend ...
    but I must remember that 996 Gt3 if droven well is faster and faster than a 997S (droven by me )

    Look like the GT3 driver didn't take the correct lane for corner or just the angle of the camera?

    The 997S is fast!

    The gt3 caught the car well but the lines are far from good.

    Saweet vids thanks!

    One thing I noticed in the main straight-away the gt3 and turbo pulled away ever so slightly, but I think its a combination of good driving and excellent braking that helped you stay on their tails.

    And hey, I noticed those yellow calipers

    Good job regardless!

    the car is the twin of RC's car :

    997S ,-20 lsd ,sportchrono,PCCB + complete cargraphic exhaust

    in the first video 996TT 420 hp ,steel brakes .
    in the second video GT3 mk2 is : clubsport version ,PCCB equipped .

    consider that I'm not a good driver ,like other boys in TT and Gt3 .
    my best time was 1:24 ,a good gt3rs driver runs in 1:20 or faster ....
    I think that 997S -20pccb in a track like this is faster than 996 tt ,but in a track like monza ..the 996 final speed could make this car faster .

    Hey Sergini,
    I truly enjoyed watching your videos. Where you on street or track tires??? (grip seems to be VERY good). PASM is in for something also probably.

    Anyway, this fight with the TT and GT3 re-assures me that the 997S combines extreme sports car character with daily usability, seemingly even more than 996's. I would love to go for a GT3 but it would kill me not to be able to drive it regularly.

    Nice vids Sergi, how did the base 997 fair?
    Looks like you're doing pretty well,maybe some of the experts will show their vids too. The 997s is the best compromise btwn daily driver and track king. Can't wait for the C4S997!
