Videos of my 997TT accelerating ! Now on youtube !

Now I put the videos on youtube so that they can be watched easier.

Here are some videos I took today in my 997TT Tip just outside Munich

Accelerating from 70-230KM/H with kickdown:

Anybody has an idea how long it takes for the videos to process ?

I find that Google Video processes videos much faster. Might want to keep that in mind for next time?

OK, so this car seems to be doing 100-200 in about 8 sec which means less than 12sec to 200 and you are not "terribly" impressed? is it maybe because you can't "hear" it happening? Although I would never buy a tip, I think the car is fine you just need an exhaust (and maybe a chip?) and you're all set

He probably recommends the cargraphic exhaust and protomotive chip which is what he has. I have the cargraphic myself but haven't put it yet. I'm still waiting until they've managed to crack the OBD2 encryption so I don't have to send in my ECU. I'd much rather be able to flash my ECU myself.

GT, a stock TT makes about 420-430 hp at the wheels. The program I have dynoes between 473-483hp at the wheels with slightly higher torque numbers. I think with the exhaust and good fuel, the car is making close to 500 hp at the wheels, so I think with 12% loss, that equals about 560-570 crank hp and over 750 NM of torque and yes the difference between stock and now is not only significant , it is really huge. there are a couple of people on the other forums with the same setup that you can check with as well.

No, it was another forum member's car and the dyno plots are there. The tuner also has other dyno plots from different cars. I am still looking for an AWD dyno shop in the san diego area and will dyno it for sure.

According to the Mustang dyno lookup the closet Mustang AWD dyno facility to San Diego is, of all places, GIAC in Irvine, Tel #949-724-0014.
