I have a 997 C2S now and I wouldn't be surprised if my next car is a Boxster S. The bottom line is that tracking a car is pretty expensive, and as I get older and have to spend more time with my young daughter, the reality is that what I really need is a fun enjoyable daily driver in the summers. I suspect that the new Boxster S has ample power for that. It should handle like a charm, and the drop top will probably be fantastic. The 911 seems so serious, whie the Boxster justs seems like pure fun.

Agreed: lighter, smaller and seems more nimble.
I bet the Cayman S will be close to perfect when it gets a 3.6l engine with direct injection yielding around 350 hp. Throw in PCCB - yikes!
