Yeah, saw the posts as well.
I absolutely love his ig, as on the one side he deals with these insanely special cars on a regular basis, but on the other hand describes all these super “normal” dealings with them, and explains a lot about backgrounds, technical specialities or just how special it can be to drive them. 10/10 would recommend.
Porsche, separates Le Mans from Le Boys
I think I may have mentioned this before so I will just go for the really brief version. In the late 1970s when gas went from around 50cents to a dollar a gallon (nearly 100% price increase) a friend to mine (not one of my Rennteam friends) took to siphoning gas. One day he stole the fuel of a late model GM sedan who apparently got the delete option for all of their diesel badging. Karma stepping right up to the plate for a homerun.
