    Just saw and heard a F599....

    I popped out to lunch today and whilst I was walking along, I heard a great exhaust sound. Suddenly, I saw a silver F599 drive past on a roundabout, then it went round the large roundabout again (almost like a slingshot action) and then it roared away along Aspen Way. I could hear it clearly a full 20 seconds later when it must have been at least half a kilometre away.

    OMG, what a car...!

    Hell yes! Saw a red one some time ago and the car really has presence!

    Yeah, Ferrari nearly got everything right with the F599.

    Agree, after 500 mis of varied driving in past <1 wk, view 599 as best overall sports/GT car on planet.....

    In fact, if 599 had class-leading safety, would trade-in my superb CL550 and cancel my Mar CL63 order....and drive 599 as my only car....599 is such a complete car that brilliantly serves both daily urban commute and wkend play needs.....

    But given that F is unlikely to ever have class-leading safety, a CL63 and 599 duo isn't an unreasonable portfolio approach to solve one's transportation needs.....

    I saw none other than Gordan Ramsay in a Grey 599 a couple of weeks back in Sloane Square. Unfortunately, he was stuck in traffic so I couldn't hear the exhaust even though I was only 5 yards away....

    Stunning car in the flesh - no doubt about it.

    Right, i'd love to get you and my ol'man in a discussion. It's proving to be harder than i thought to get him to off-load his CL600.

    Naturally, the first car i had in mind was the 599

    Nice sounding, but to me it's still not the best looking I just can't get the look to grow on me, and I don't think I ever will. Despite seeing the car in 3 different shades of colour already, my mind stays the same.

    Interior is great though!

    Those gear changes are super smooth!

    The F430 in the video sounds 100x better

    Have to agree with Mike as much as I love the 599 it does not have the same exhaust note as the 430. However it has much more presence.

    Cant wait till fourth quarter 2007

    this is fast

    The man in orange pants said the max speed depends on the traction at the start. He put the fifth gear at the end of the straight.

    I second that, the f599 has a great design etc, but to me its not the best looking ferrari or sportscar in the planet !+ I prefer f430 sound or f360 sound

    Other than that, I still prefer a 997 gt3 !!!!

    That sounded like someone was grinding the sh!t out of their gears. It did sound a little better as it pulled away though.
