ok, so Miami blue went from being a non-German style colour  given the grayish weather and somewhat dullish general days  to German by adding an English styled rear light enhancement?

doesn't the Aston mod mean that the brake lights are obscured?

In any colour the new model is tragically overpriced. Without factory money pushing lease deals it going to be a s l o w seller.

By most measures, I agree.  Or you could choose to see that it laps the Ring on street tires in the time it took the 997 GT2 on track tires and costs half as much...

What the hell Smiley it really looks much better with those inserts, and with other exterior color it will look even better!

    Re: OFFICIAL: 2016 Porsche 911 [991.2]

To RC's point, PDCC does make the 991 feel quite a bit more "pointy" and direct.  Perhaps a bit artificial for some drivers.  Just a shame that you must spend $3k+ on this option to get that feel.  C4 GTS Cab w/ PDCC is basically GT3 priced.

PDCC is amazing and I'd be surprised if someone can really feel it work in the current generation and software status.

The prices are ridiculous indeed. PDCC and AWS should be standard on the new 991.2 but we all knew that this isn't going to happen. I also don't understand why Porsche is asking extra money for PDK, it should be the other way around. I bet 90% of the customers, if not more, order PDK, so what the heck? Smiley

My 991 C4 GTS Cab is 163k EUR. For the same money, you could get a well optioned GT3. Does it sound right? No.

I get it, Porsche wants to be the most profitable car maker but at some point, it is getting ridiculous.

Target for 2020 is, base 911 to hit 200k Euro (starting price) for a cleaner enviroment, that way not many people will be able to obtain one that easily  Smiley

Here's an exmaple of why P is about to dig its own grave....slowly Smiley

In latest AutoZeitung test, BMW X5 M vs Porsche Cayenne TT S

    Power: 575hp / 570hp

    Acceleration:

    0-100: 4,0 / 3,8

    0-160: 9,1 / 8,9

    0-200: 14,4 / 14,2

    Braking:

    100-0 (cold): 33,9m / 33,5m

    100-0 (warm): 32,7m / 33,0m

    Slalom 18m: 66,1 km/h  /  65,4 km/h

    Lap time - 1:39,4  /  1:40,2

    CO2: 258 g/km  /  267 g/km

    Price: 114k € vs 167k €

    Total Points: 2534 / 2534 (A draw!)

I have a feeling if the TTS had lost in this test, they (testers) wouldn't be allowed to test another P car in the near future Smiley

    Re: OFFICIAL: 2016 Porsche 911 [991.2]

If the comparison was X5M vs CTT (not S) the Porsche would have lost...

No, too limiting; that would be a terrible missed opportunity to rake in $$$ via Porsche Exclusive.

    Re: OFFICIAL: 2016 Porsche 911 [991.2]

It would be pretty easy for Porsche to offer a 600+ Cayenne Turbo S monster but unfortunately there is Bentley... angry

I agree, the X5 M is a very good offer vs. the Cayenne Turbo S, an offer even I considered at some point and I really don't want a BMW anymore. Porsche needs to learn from that but as long as they sell record figures, it will be difficult.

The 911 is already very expensive in my opinion but lets see how the new turbo engines do in the new Carrera. After 12 months, we should know more...

That's correct. But the One-77 is still one of the best designs ever, so copying it isn't necessarily a bad thing. Smiley

AM is retarded. The One-77 should have been a normal design. If you want to sell cars, maybe try using good designs on high volume products?
