How should I do the kick-down for the best 0-100?

I'm measuring it with Performance box, and 4,5 secs is the best i got so far. There is a little too much loss time when i do full throttle while the car is fully stopped, i guess that long loss time is the source of the problem. (the car is has been used only 750 km so far by the way)

What should i do for 3.7?

Re: How should I do the kick-down for the best 0-100?

With 750km don't you think it's too soon and should wait until the car is properly broken in

Re: How should I do the kick-down for the best 0-100?

yeah I do, but still doesn't it seem a little bit much? 4,5 secs is the best i got so far, sometimes 4,8 - 4,9 happens and it bothers me I don't know if these are the normal values for "now". If so, there is no problem at all

Re: How should I do the kick-down for the best 0-100?

It's seems slow, but I would break it in before I try doing really hard launches. Congrats on your new ride and be safe

    SImple procedure

    - Sport mode activated
    - Fully apply the brakes
    - Fully press the throttle (revs will stabalize between 4k/min and 5k/min)
    - Release the brakes - the car will take off like hell

Re: How should I do the kick-down for the best 0-1

thanks you both I will try that ASAP

Re: How should I do the kick-down for the best 0-1

this has been discussed many times before.....
i assume your car is a tip ?

apply the brake....hit the throttle and build up boost and rpm....at about 4-4.5k let go and you will be catapulted forward.......

To activate Sport Chrono mode, you must first reach 3300+ RPM. The car will then automatically start in 1st gear, not 2nd. You can then follow the above instructions.

Re: How should I do the kick-down for the best 0-1

How bad for the car is the "Launch"?

Re: How should I do the kick-down for the best 0-1

I am sure I heard somewhere that if you use the Ferrari Launch control more than 4 times then it voids the warranty! Probably just a rumour though.

...so I don't think any hard launch is particularly good for the car no.

Re: How should I do the kick-down for the best 0-1

    Thanks...
I guess I'll be very sparing in the use of Launching my lil' beast!
