    GT3 cup car airbox

    Is there any benefit to using this style airbox, if the deck lid can be modified to contain the unit separately?

    with the right fitting hood it gained nearly a second per lap in 2004 Supercup according to Mr. Jürgen Alzen!

    that airbox relies on an air ram intake on top of the decklid. its a compeltely different system as well as rear aerodynamics,

    you would need the cupcar rear decklid / spoiler for it to work propoerly

    correct. Do you see the rubber "lip" at the BMC box? it needs to fit to the rear lid!
